Come enjoy seeing a wonderful population of Dissected Grape Ferns (Sceptridium dissectum) in one of their "natural" habitats, an older cemetery! Beautiful in their fall colors of golden sporophores and bronzed sterile leaves, they are a real Autumn treat. Pelham is a new town for our fern walks, but close by. Easy walk.

We will meet at the corner of Amherst Rd and Rt 202 (Daniel Shays Highway) in Pelham at 1pm. This is the corner with the Historic Town Hall, Church, and Daniel Shays Monument. Address is 374 Amherst Rd in Pelham. The second site, for those who care to join us after the first, is the Knights Corner Cemetery on Packardville Rd.
