Fern Walk at Fitzgerald Lake

Fitzgerald Lake Conservation Area is a large area managed by the Broad Brook Coalition (BBC) and the Northampton Conservation Commission. Join us to explore the area and learn the key features for easy identification of our Top 10 Most Common Native Ferns and more, including Marsh, and Spinulose and Crested Wood Ferns. Mostly level ground. Wear clothing appropriate for possible encounters with poison ivy, insects or muddy ground.

The walk is free, but BBC requests that people register with them in order to answer questions and notify people of any changes or cancellations.
