First Fern Fiddlehead News!

Fragile Fern, Amherst

Randy went out today and found our first fiddlehead of the season, in Amherst. We got a photo of this fern last year, more developed, on 3/30/20. I think we can say the Fragile Fern is the first fiddlehead we see in this area.

Now you have a new reason to go out exploring, as the weather warms & there is some rain.

I will have to finish the clubmosses soon, to make room for the new fiddleheads.
