Enjoy seeing & identifying spring wildflowers and ferns at beautiful Chard Pond on Falls Rd in Sunderland MA.
Flowers & ferns include columbine, toothwort, trillium, maidenhair spleenwort, fragile fern, ostrich fern & more. And of course the waterfalls! Moderate level hike. Uneven & muddy ground in some areas.
Meet at Chard Pond, on Falls Road at intersection with Gunn Cross Road, 1 mile north of intersection with Rt 47, north of Sunderland Center.
