Fern Walk postponed to next Sunday August 25th

The rain has come, and it isn't predicted to stop until after 2PM. So we are postponing the Fern Walk to next Sunday, August 25th 1-3PM.

The photo is of Clinton's Fern (Dryopteris clintoniana), one of the ferns we will see on this Fern Walk. You can see it looks a lot like Crested Fern (the blunt triangular bottom pinnae), but it is much broader overall. This is a small one, they are usually much taller. Found in wooded wetlands.
