Lady Fern Fiddleheads

Wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day with these Lady Fern (Athyrium angustum) fiddleheads! This photo was taken last April 18th. Hard to believe we are only two months away from these fiddleheads being out again! Right now there is too much snow to see even most of the winter ferns! But this photo makes me think of Spring.
